This whole winter in the north east thing is no joke. (and no, i do not look like the girls below when I am commuting to work) Not sure what struck me today other than pulling on my snow boots for the millionth time this week, but I have decided I am officially over winter. Unfortunately for me, that devil creature Punxsutawney Phil says I have to deal with this for 6 more weeks…but he definitely can’t stop me from starting to peruse the worldwide web for some warm weather inspiration.
First up, a fresh face line I recently discovered, fittingly called May. Their spring selection is full of tropic prints, great cut outs and sheer material. I especially love this halter holiday print dress, this simple white tank style and of course a sassy cut out style. Best of all– they’re all under $200 so if you’re like me and tire of pattern easily, you don’t have to make a major commitment.
Next, this tropical wonder from tibi. The combo of the peplum and the crop top scare the bajeezus out of me but hopefully will motivate me to hit the gym/stalk the mall for something high-waisted to pair with it
Finally, I saw this pair of sandals and they called to me. I usually steer clear of anything pearl ever since I went through a bad overly preppy phase in middle/high school (my nickname for a time was unfortunately “ribbons”), but this pair is so simple the pearls add a polished touch. Love that you could dress them up for work or down to play with a pair of torn blue jean shorts.
Here’s to new spring clothes and warmer weather to come!!
